Independent contractors, partnerships, and self-employed are also eligible. These loans are subject to 100% loan forgiveness if certain requirements are met. Apply through local SBA lenders and participating FDIC banks and credit unions.

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) & Emergency Grants
The EIDL Advance (grant) program that provided businesses with $1,000 per employee up to a maximum of $10,000 has ended. The SBA Administrator has said that the $20 billion in funds appropriated for these advances has been used up. If you have not received your EIDL advance (grant) then more than likely you will not receive the grant.
Remember that if you received a PPP loan, any forgiveness you receive will be reduced by the EIDL Advance amount you received. So if you have a PPP, receiving an EIDL advance isn't a benefit since you can't receive free money twice.
The SBA will continue to accept applications for EIDL long term loans, which offer a 3.75% interest rate for small businesses and 2.75% for not-for-profit organizations, a 30-year maturity, and an automatic deferment of one year before monthly payments begin. Businesses can apply for EIDL loans on the SBA disaster assistance page.
