Noelle James, an Ohio native, originally came to Richmond to serve as law clerk to Chief Justice Leroy R. Hassell, Sr. of the Supreme Court of Virginia and quickly grew attached to the city and its business community. Before joining Startup Virginia, Noelle spent 10 years as a corporate lawyer with Christian & Barton, LLP, counseling a broad range of organizations from startup ventures to public companies with an emphasis on intellectual property and technology law. She now comes to Startup Virginia to help founders grow faster and smarter than they would on their own.
