Fundraising 201: Raising a Seed Round Efficiently
Mike Wilner, co-author of Oversubscribed: A Founder’s Guide to Seed Fundraising and a former startup founder, shares the framework and process that Silicon Valley founders use to close seeds rounds in as little as a month. The talk dives deep on the different kinds of investors and their motivations, and how you should think about running a fundraise process to generate a sense of urgency for investors. You’ll also learn how to properly build an investor funnel, develop a fundraising narrative, line up meetings in parallel and how to go from initial meetings to closing investors.
