Receivable.io makes sure small businesses get paid on time.
Introduce yourself.

What does a typical day look like for you?
I wear quite a few hats at the company. Often, I can be found working on sales and marketing efforts, testing our product, or providing our services … all before lunch! At the end of the day, being an entrepreneur was my calling and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I enjoy being an advocate for small businesses and am passionate about building products & services to make business owners’ lives easier.
On a personal note, I spend time with family and friends. My three kids keep me incredibly busy … bouncing from baseball practice to cheerleading or gymnastics. There’s never a dull moment in the household!
What inspired you to start your company?
I’ve owned several services-based organizations. I’ve owned a consulting business, a video agency, and a marketing agency. One of the major issues impacting positive cash flow is the payment terms of clients. We, as well as over 64% of other business owners, are waiting on late payments at any given point in time. While operating my marketing agency, we decided to build a process to manage the communications for our receivables. This had such a positive impact on our cash flow. We decided to build out a platform that would enhance our process, connect with Quickbooks and make it easier for small businesses to get paid on time.
What’s your favorite thing about Virginia?
I love how you can get to so many cool places in about two hours. Whether it’s the beach, mountains, or the nation’s capital, it’s all within reach.
