What does a typical day look like for you?
Briefly describe activities that are both professional and personal to give insight into the work you do and how you get it done, as well as your personality and interests.
On a good day: Up at 6, work out, meditate and into work around 8-830. I start with a big list (overall objectives) and small list (to-do for that day). This typically entails stakeholder outreach, conversations with consumers, working alongside our CTO.
Currently I’m spending extra time on social media strategy, website design, Quickbooks and taxes. I like to cook and try to be home by 6:30-7 every night to cook or get a workout in if I overslept…
What inspired you to start your company?
As a home based clinician I saw parents still had questions and felt lost when I wasn’t around. Parents would call, text or email after hours with general and specific questions about behavior. Additionally, autism is the fastest growing developmental disability in the US and there aren’t enough clinicians to support families. Because of these two facts, parents need a better way to have consistent and constant answers.
What’s your favorite thing about Virginia?
This can be anything – an activity, a destination, a restaurant, etc. Small city feel with the activities and entertainment of a big city. 2 hours from the beach, mountains and nations capital.
